Pattern Plays

If you've been following my blog, you know that I am helping my friend decorate her living and dining room. When we get together, the kids run wild and we talk design!  She is working on her living room and she is in the midst of picking fabrics.  She definitely wants to use John Robshaw Duralee's elephant fabric (comes in aqua and indigo). I also introduced her to Annie Selke's scramble fabric which she really likes and I suggested she use it on one of her LR chairs (think english roll arm).

Here are some fabrics I pulled for her living room.

I think all of them work, but I know I have my personal favorite!  Hope you have a great weekend!

  2. Fran, these are beautiful - can Sheila and I come over for a play date too? So fun to let the kids play and the adults talk design and redecorate. Ok, I love #2 but I love the Robshaw fabric in #1 (top right) for drapes. I'm actually using that in the red colorway in a project at our house (that I hope to complete this weekend). All great choices though - looking forward to seeing what she chooses. I love the elephant fabric too - it's masculine but still playful and whimsical.

  3. Beautiful selections Fran. Your friend is lucky to have you and it sounds like the kids are happy as well. Win -win.

  4. Wow, I LOVE the greens and blues, and am so impressed with your mixing skills. I couldn't do it in a million years. All the combos are pretty. If I had to go with one it would be the first...or maybe the last. That's a tough one! :P
