Love a pool surrounded by grass. I also have been loving splashes of color lately. I particularly like the splashes of color used in these pictures from Mrs. Howard's Personal Shopper. I like how the sitting (living) room is a bit subdued and sophisticated, but when you see the entryway, the whole entire space changes to fun, funky and fresh. Initially, when I saw the living room, I liked it, but it was the entryway that sold me. I love the unexpected entryway furnishings - the green chinoiserie console, the foo dog lamps and the bold glossy white mirror. It all goes seamlessly well together. Isn't it amazing how a few pieces can entirely change the look and feel of a space? I think that is what I love about interior design - the possibilities are endless and by changing up the elements it is possible to create a space that you love.
Oooo that pool looks lovely! I could do with a swim in there today! Will
ReplyDeleteGreat points. I must have completely missed that foyer. You are right, it does give the space an extra special touch.
