I love Los Angeles clothing designer Trina Turk especially her line of fabrics for F. Schumacher. While, I am definitely drawn to the boldness & color of her fabrics, it is the patterns that I really adore . Suited for any room, I would particularly love to use her fabrics in an outdoor space - they just scream summer, beach & moijitos to me. The crafty side of me would love to use her patterns as a stencil on storage boxes, a wall, a table or even a rug. image via here
Since, we don't officially have a patio or deck with some hip furniture, I might just settle on buying yard or two and making some fun placemats, napkins or a table runner. Some of my favorite patterns:
Zebra pattern in orange
Trellis pattern in pool
Arches pattern in bamboo
Santorini pattern in marine
Just so happens I spied some Trina Turk fabric on ebay starting at $9.99! Trellis pattern here , here and here. Arches pattern here . Pisces pattern here . Paradise pattern here . Enjoy the weekend and happy bidding!
I just love "Friday's fabric" on your blog! I hope this will be a Green Street tradition. Now, I've got some bidding to do! Happy weekend, Fran!

ReplyDeleteI love all these fabrics! The colors and patterns are perfect for spring.
ReplyDeleteAs for your question about the towels I used for my Darby inspired dishtowels, I made some from terry cloth that I bought from an etsy seller (Darby recommended). But that was too time consuming. Yesterday I bought some microfiber kitchen towels from home goods for $3.99 for 4, and there are advertised as lint free - hopefully they'll do the job. Thanks for commenting on my blog!
Love your blog! And totally agree about these Trina Turk fabrics - they do scream summer to me as well.
