Cafe Curtains

CHH
Have been making a comeback.  Everywhere I look, they keep popping up.  When I think of cafe curtains, I somewhat cringe and think of really bad window treatments 10+ years ago.  But when I see these, I smile.  Really smile!  If I had a larger kitchen window, I would absolutely consider cafe curtains - a great way to inject a dose of your favorite fabric!

  1. My mom always had cafe curtains. When she gutted and remodeled her kitchen two years ago I was hoping she'd rethink, but no, they're back. I guess I feel like they are like pants that are too short. Does that make sense?

  2. I have to admit I like them in the right space. Something nice about letting in some light and still maintaining a bit of privacy. I do worry about how clean they will stay above a sink but if they're mostly open, it's probably less of an issue!

  3. If they are the right fabric and used the right way they can be great! Cool pics!

  6. These curtains are very relaxing and they can really make a difference in making a window more gorgeous and stylish. We also have a lot of window treatments in our home and to keep them well-maintained, we brought it to some shops that offers dry cleaning (Indianapolis area) and just recently, added some shutters (Indianapolis) to add style to our windows.
