Patio Updates & Guest Posting

I'm nearly finished with my patio makeover.  I am just waiting for two lumbar pillows to arrive before I do the reveal.  If you remember, I created several mood boards for my patio.  This makeover had to be on a strict budget using my existing wicker chairs, indoor/outdoor rug and garden stool (which I scored at TJ Maxx for $20).  I've finished spray painting my wicker chairs and my garden stool.  Here is a little before and after of my garden stool.

Before:

I bought Rust-Oleum Ultra Cover spray paint in green apple...

After:

It turned out  better than I expected.  So, stay tuned for my patio reveal!!  And, if you have a moment, c'mon over to Meet Me in Philadelphia where I am sharing my patio inspirations, while the lovely Ashley is on her honeymoon!!

  4. Oh, I can't wait!!! You are making much better progress on your patio than I am. Of course I always move at a turtles pace when it comes to projects around my house. Working on other people's homes are just more fun, LOL! Anyways, great idea to paint that stool! It turned out adorable.

  6. Ohhhhhh! Can't wait for the reveal!
And I'm glad to know that your garden stool turned out so well after spray painting it. I have been considering doing that to mine...but from yellow to white. Mine was also a TJ Maxx score :)

  7. The stool turned out beautifully, it's always a little scary to see if the paint color will look the way you hope.
